Session entitled: Key Papers Unplugged: how to survive the FMH exam
For the first time a joint SYNS | SYNR Science Slam Presentations is taking place at the Joint Annual Meeting SSNS | SSNR.
Date: Thursday, 29 October 2026 at 15:30 - 16:30.
Goal of the session: to review key literature relevant to clinical practice and prepare for the FMH exam. Applicants may choose one of the following presentation slots:
15:30 – 15:45 - Neurosurgical Pills on Low-Grade Gliomas
16:00 – 16:15 - Neurosurgical Pills on Chronic Subdural Hematomas

Application Requirements
Applicants are requested to submit the following:
1. Year of training - As a resident or young consultant
2. Oral presentation experience(s) - Previous congress oral presentation and/or oral ePoster presentation. Specify when, where and what you presented.
3. Motivation statement - Why should we choose you? (Maximum 150 words)
4. Draft presentation of the selected topic, including:
- 3 - 4 milestone papers that you want to present on the topic.
Papers that every young neurosurgeon/neuroradiologist should know.
- Emphasis on relevance for daily clinical practice and FMH examinations
